Red Rocks of Sedona, Arizona
One of my favorite hikes while living in Arizona was Bear Mountain in Sedona, Arizona. It starts out in the high desert among the sandstone, red cliffs and juniper trees and eventually climbs up on top of the limestone up into the pine trees at the top. Every turn provides one incredible view after another of a location that is already scenic enough even from the main roads.
