Black Bear Cub Up a Tree Eating Berries

A black bear cub looks out as it eats berries from a branch in Grand Teton National Park.

Another shot from the other day with the bears along Moose-Wilson Road in Grand Teton National Park. One of the two cubs was a little more ambitious than the others and would repeatedly climb up a small tree of river hawthorn berries to get a better angle when the mother wasn’t pulling the branches down. I was fortunate enough to get quite a few shots of the cub eating, reaching, etc., but this was by far my favorite shot of that series.
