Yellowstone Grizzly Bear with Four Cubs
Yes, you read that right. There’s a grizzly bear near Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park with a whopping four cubs. Two is pretty common. Three is something that turns heads. Four is just an amazing sight to behold. Sadly though, one of the cubs appears to be a small runt (pictured behind her here) and the future of that little one is unfortunately in question. Needless to say, seeing all four of them, even if from a distance, is quite astounding to see and clearly brings much joy to anybody that peers through binoculars to see them.
This was unfortunately one of the better shots I came back with. I say unfortunately because I would have liked to get something closer, but she just didn’t want to have her closeups that day. Regardless, I’m still very excited I got to see her. I may try heading back up there soon to check in on her and see if I can get any better shots of the four cubs.
