Grand Canyon Sunset from the Desert View Point
Probably the best place I’ve seen sunset at the Grand Canyon (so far) was from the Desert View Point on the eastern side of the South Rim. Great views of the Grand Canyon to the west, the North Rim to the north and Marble Canyon and the Painted Desert to the east. It’s also a great location because of the way the light splits through a side canyon and illuminates everything above the Colorado River.
